Oakley Cricket Club - Season 2011

Oakley Cricket Club was founded in 1849 and has a picturesque rural ground at Dummer Lane, Oakley, near Basingstoke, Hampshire - with good facilities.

We have been playing at Oakley Park almost since our inception, and celebrated the ground's 150th anniversary in 2004.

For the 2011 season we will be running a wide variety of teams to suit all abilities and degrees of seriousness. Our Saturday First XI play in County Division four north and our Second XI play in the Regional Division two. We have one Sunday team that play other local teams in friendly matches and we are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of adhoc games to touring sides. In addition, we run a number of different indoor teams in an attempt to prevent ourselves from stiffening up during the winter months.

We have a dedicated structure for colts cricket with regular training sessions provided. There are six colts teams: the Under 9s, Under 11A&Bs, Under 13s and Under 15A&Bs. Many of our colts progress through to play for the senior teams.

Please browse through our site to find out more about the club. We would love to see you at the ground in support. Or, if you fancy a game with one of our teams, even better!
